Requestors Identity Tab Fields

Path: Admin > User Management > Requestors / Identity Tab

These records can be edited similar to other records in WebTMA. Do not delete the records unless they have never been associated with any other WebTMA record. You can make a requestor inactive (clear the Active check box). When a requestor is inactive, his or her name does not appear on selection lists, and the requestor cannot log in to the system.

Once you have created a Requestor record, go to User Management > Records / Identity Tab follow the instructions for How to Add User Records and How to Add LDAP Users.

Subtabs on the window are used to record other contact information such as work, personal, and emergency. The fields on the Subtabs are self-evident. The following lines define the fields and check boxes on the Identity Tab and the Location Subtab.

Active – Click to clear this check box if the person is no longer an active requestor.

Address 1 & 2, City, State, Zip – Type the requestor's work address.

Badge – If your organization issues employee badges, record the requestor's badge number in this field.

Department – Type or select the requestor's affiliated department.

E-mail – If you include the requestor's e-mail address, an automatic confirmation e-mail is sent when a reservation is made or a reservation request is converted. You have the choice to send an e-mail for validated work orders as well. Be certain the address is valid; otherwise, messages cannot be sent to a requestor.

First Name / Last Name – The requestor's name.

ID – An alpha-numeric ID if needed. This is not a Login ID, which is assigned from Admin > User Management > Records / Identity Tab.

Job Class – If your organization distinguishes between different job classifications, enter the appropriate class in this field.

License # – The state issued driver's license number.

Location Subtab – Details about the requestor's location. See Assigned Items Tab for consequences of changing the location.

Mail Stop – The Mail Stop code associated with the Location ID. If the Area record includes a Mail Stop, it is automatically entered in the read-only Mail Stop field on the Requestor record.

Organization – If the requestor is affiliated with a particular group or organization, type the name in this field.

Position – This field is used with the optional Move Manager functionality available with the CAFM module. Move Manager is exclusive to WebTMA Enterprise. Select the appropriate Position type set up in Organization > Lookups.

Requestor Type – Select the applicable type established in Organization > Lookups > Requestor Type.

Title – The job title of the requestor.
