Accumulative information is displayed at the bottom of the Costs & Budgeting Tab. The display changes based on the presence of authorized estimates for the Project. The following screenshot shows an authorized estimate and cannot be edited.
For estimates that have not been approved or that do not require approval, the Budget line displays the user-defined budget amounts and can be modified as needed for labor, parts, and other expenses as shown in the following illustration:
The Actual line displays the cumulative amount from the transactional records shown on the Tab. Note that the Admin > Client Info / Preference setting to include PO Cost affects the Actual cost. See POs Included in Project Cost Rollups for more information.
The Balance line displays the budgeted balance available (budget amounts less actual amounts). These fields are read-only.
The window respects all authorizations not just estimates.
