CAFM Security

You can give users access to view CAFM. Go to Admin > User Management > Records / Window Access to grant View privileges for CAFM.

CAFM has a one-time, stand-alone installation of the application; however, if you use Firefox or Chrome as your preferred browser, the separate ClickOnce add-on application is also needed to support viewing CAFM. Firefox users can go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/fxclickonce/ to get this official Microsoft add-on. Note: If your version of ClickOnce becomes outdated and unsupported by your version of Firefox, simply download a newer (current) version.

Chrome users can get ClickOnce from the following web site: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/meta4-clickonce-launcher/jkncabbipkgbconhaajbapbhokpbgkdc.

All user redline files are saved under the user's name until that user applies the changes to the global file from Redlining > Manage Redline Files where he or she can choose to Update to the global file or Refresh from the global file.

The Redlining > Manage Redline Files command also manipulates the files in this folder as well as the drawings folder. This makes it necessary for all CAFM users to have read/write permissions on both folders. Since CAFM will create this folder using permissions of the logged in user, it may be desirable for the WebTMA System Administrator to create this folder in advance and set the permissions accordingly.
