How to Use the Timer on the Pocket PC

COULD NOT TEST. IS THIS ACCURATE?

The timer icon is visible on both the mobileTMA Work Order and Post Labor windows.

  1. Tap the icon BtnTimerOff to start the timer. When the timer is active, the icon is enclosed in a frame BtnTimeOnPPC.
  2. Tap the image again, and the icon reverts to the original. However, the timer is not turned off.
  3. Look for the blue ball BlueBallPPC in the Work Order List. This indicates the timer is running.
  4. Return to the Work Order Menu.
  5. Select Work Order > Labor.
  6. Select the work order being timed.
  7. Tap the Hours field.
  8. Tap the Timer icon to calculate and enter the elapsed time.

The time is transferred to the related fields in WebTMA on the Quick Post > Labor by Technician window for the work order.

BtnNoteText If you do not immediately post labor and instead open another work order, a message asks you to select Yes or No to stop the timer for the work order. If you select Yes, you lose the elapsed time on the first work order. If you select No, you cannot use the timer with the second work order. And, the time continues to accumulate and is added to the previous work order.
